HAPPY FRIDAY!

This pic is of Mikey & Lily w/ daddy. As you can see eddie is not excited about being photographed all of the time.

I wasn't able to catch Mikey in the act but he can turn on his mobile all by himself. He is trying to pull up on the side rails. I guess he will follow in his brothers footsteps of being an early climber.

Happy Friday to everyone out there who takes a minute to read our blog. Well another busy week for the Rucker's and a busy weekend to follow. Tomorrow we will all be smiles as we try to capture those perfect pictures of our family. In the morning I will be taking the kids to Nicole at True Expressions Photography. She is the wonderful photographer that took great pics of Mikey and Lily when they were 21 days old and she is also the one who created our wonderful birth announcement. She has been busy taking pics of our friends families check them out at Nicole's Blog. Then that same afternoon we will be taking pics with another photographer affiliated with our Moms of Multiples group. You probably are thinking why would you torture yourself all in one day. Well it is something you just have to do and I am on a quest to find the best pics for our Christmas card. Come on people we are dealing with 6 people. It might take a while to get that perfect pic.

So Mikey and Lily are eating from the spoon now. Lily loves it and Mikey well lets just say he like his bottle. We have eaten sweet potatoes, prunes & pears so far. We introduced bananas today but bananas didn't go over well you should have seen their faces! I will have Eddie take pics tomorrow when we try again.

So my Prince Charming is headed home right now so that WE can take the Big Boys to get their flu injections! Yes, That is what I have been telling them so they don't freak out too much. Chase has it figured out but Carter is just thinking he has to open his mouth for them to pour something in. So Eddie is coming to help hold down our two big boys in attempts to keep the flu bug far from our home and to protect Mikey & Lily this flu season.

Number 1

Chase is our first born son a soon to be 7 year old and in the second grade in the fall. He handles his role of big brother impressively well. Chase is a super caring big brother! He is astonishingly independent and amazes us with his deep thinking and his uncanning auditory skills. He is tender, fun loving, inventive and interested in anything his daddy does. Which includes anything that has to do with water, structural and concrete. It looks like we will probably add another engineer to our family when he graduates college in 2024. You can often find him climbing on everything, riding his bike & scooter or chilling out with his younger siblings. His favorite foods don't seem to fall on the food pyramid but include jelly sandwichs, chicken fettuccini alfredo, almost any fruit and water.

Carter, our second born son is 5 1/2 years old and is going to be in Kindergarten in the Fall.He is nothing short of Fiesty! He is full of personality. He is a very fun loving, easy going, sensative and talkative. He loves to play outside and climb just like his brother. He mastered the skill of riding a two wheeled bike at the young age of 3 1/2 which impressed us and showed his ability to accomplish anything he puts his mind to . He is the care taker of his two younger siblings that made him a "Official Big Brother". His heart is big and his mouth is bigger. He loves to talk and can ask 20 questions around the clock. His favorite food is green beans, chicken and anything that dad eats. He is a mommy and daddy's boy to the core. When he grows up he thinks he is going to be a baseball player.
