Birthday Pics!

Here are some pictures from our First Birthday Celebration for Mikey & Lily Kate. The party was at 4 and at 4:01pm is started to down pour outside. So all our preparations of putting up a new Gazebo and moonwalk outside turned out to be a wash out. So plan B was putting the kid tables in the garage and doing prince and princess crafts. The kids made crowns and tiaras and played with princess Lily and Prince Mikey Blue play dough. I am still trying to get my house put back together after the Big event but it was all worth it! Thanks to everyone who helped with theh babies during the party and to Nichols for taking these great photos. it is hard to take all of the pictures when you are the hostess but is great to have awesome friends. Keep checking I will post more pictures once I figure out who else was taking some.

Number 1

Chase is our first born son a soon to be 7 year old and in the second grade in the fall. He handles his role of big brother impressively well. Chase is a super caring big brother! He is astonishingly independent and amazes us with his deep thinking and his uncanning auditory skills. He is tender, fun loving, inventive and interested in anything his daddy does. Which includes anything that has to do with water, structural and concrete. It looks like we will probably add another engineer to our family when he graduates college in 2024. You can often find him climbing on everything, riding his bike & scooter or chilling out with his younger siblings. His favorite foods don't seem to fall on the food pyramid but include jelly sandwichs, chicken fettuccini alfredo, almost any fruit and water.

Number 2

Carter, our second born son is 5 1/2 years old and is going to be in Kindergarten in the Fall.He is nothing short of Fiesty! He is full of personality. He is a very fun loving, easy going, sensative and talkative. He loves to play outside and climb just like his brother. He mastered the skill of riding a two wheeled bike at the young age of 3 1/2 which impressed us and showed his ability to accomplish anything he puts his mind to . He is the care taker of his two younger siblings that made him a "Official Big Brother". His heart is big and his mouth is bigger. He loves to talk and can ask 20 questions around the clock. His favorite food is green beans, chicken and anything that dad eats. He is a mommy and daddy's boy to the core. When he grows up he thinks he is going to be a baseball player.
